The fall semester proved to be a successful one for many Seymour college students. In fact, several Seymour students walked away from the fall semester with high grade point averages, and some even received their diplomas.
At Maryville College, Brooke Denney, Julie Hardin, Caroline Hood, Andrew Kerr, Lauren McCarter, Brady Orr and Edith Villalobos of Seymour made the Dean’s List, meaning each student received a grade point average of at least 3.6 in all work undertaken, no grade below a “C” and no incompletes for the semester.
Hundreds of miles from Seymour, Ryann Elizabeth Doyle proudly represented Seymour at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina through her hard work by making the Dean’s List during the fall 2018 semester.
Other Seymour students completed their college-level education this past fall. Carson-Newman, a Christian liberal arts university in Jefferson City, granted master and bachelor degrees to a group of Seymour students. Daniel Bradford received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Kennedy Branch received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Teacher Education. Leah Rollins received a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. Michael Snapp received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with Coaching and Fitness.
As for higher education, Robin Barnett received her Master of Science degree in Counseling in Clinical Mental Health.
