Keep Sevier Beautiful has planned activities each year in conjunction with the Keep America Beautiful Great American Clean-Up. (The Herald/ Archived Photo)

Volunteers are needed help Seymour keep its natural beauty with  Keep Sevier Beautiful’s Roads and Rivers Clean Up Day.

The event is scheduled for March 16, from 9:00 a.m. until noon.

Registration will be held in the front parking lot of First Baptist Church, located at 11621 Chapman Hwy. Participants will receive trash bags, gloves, and trash pickers to prepare them to take part in this community service event.

“This is a great way to help keep Seymour clean,” said First Baptist Church Administrator Carolynn McCammon.
