A woman who was driving northbound in the inside lane of Chapman Hwy. hit a utility pole because she was reportedly asleep behind the wheel Feb. 25.
The Sevier County Sheriff’s Department, Seymour Volunteer Fire Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and Sevier County Ambulance Service were present on the scene.
“She said thinks she felt asleep,” said SVFD member Chris Gribanow. “She wasn’t wearing her seatbelt and she hurt all over.”
