The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is searching for three suspects responsible for shooting a man during a night home invasion in South Knox County Jan. 31.

The victim of the shooting, Eddie Burnett Moore, 66, of Edington Rd, stated he was visiting his brother, Larry Moore, at his home located at 4321 Edington Rd. at about 10 p.m. when three unidentified individuals wearing masks forced entry into the residence.

The suspects demanded money, physically assaulted Eddie Moore, and then shot him. The suspects fled in a white Cadillac with rims.

Eddie Moore was transported to UT Hospital by Rural Metro. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.
