While a helping hand is something many residents need during this trying economy turmoil, the State Food Stamp program provides some odds sale item eligibility for recipients.
“Anything that can be eaten or drank is considered an eatable and can be purchased with food stamps,” explained Fastop Assistant Manage Teresa Ogle. “For example medicine, oil, and hats cannot be purchased with food stamps.”
