Living in Seymour most residents are only passively familiar with harsh winter weather, but the snow that came about after nearly half of a week rainfall caused significant local response Jan. 17.
Even before the snow had fallen many community members made preparations for the oncoming weather conditions.
“Our customer traffic was up by about ten percent before the snowfall,” said Food City Store Manager Jason Wayman. “We prepared by calling ahead the night before and getting cold weather items added to the order.”... read the rest of the story by Subscribing now.
