A tragic mobile home fire that occurred at 12:12am January 4th in South Knox left an elderly couple homeless and they lost everything as the result of the fire.

Michael and Marilyn Ownby survived the fire and suffered no injuries but have been staying with nearby neighbors and relatives.

“They had no insurance on their place so they have lost not only their home but everything they had and no insurance money to replace any of it,” said close family friend Leslie Percelly.
