Average retail gasoline prices in Seymour and South Knox have risen 8.6 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.18 per gallon.
Seymour’s Gas N’ Go located on the corner of Chapman and Maryville Hwy. has the lowest reported price of $3.07 per gallon for regular unleaded fuel.
“With the fresh start of 2013 many motorists have begun seeking information on where gasoline prices will be going for the upcoming year,” said GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan.
South Knox has similar fuel prices with the lowest advertised price of $3.08 reported at Weigel’s off John Sevier Highway.
