The iconic ice cream shop that boasted the pink and white sign which promoted 31 flavors now stands vacant and leaves residents with fewer options to select from.

Vacant commercial buildings and lots standing empty such as the former Baskin Robbins is a familiar sight on Chapman Highway and is proof of dismal economic times.

Programs such as Cash Mob enacted by Knoxville Mayor, Tim Burchett helps relieve the economic strain on privately owned businesses by giving consumers an incentive to shop locally.

The Baskin Robbins Corporation is currently seeking a new owner for the franchise to be located closer to Seymour.
