When holiday plans go awry one may find themselves dining on roast duck and combination fried rice this Christmas Evening just as Ralphie and his family in the classic holiday movie A Christmas Story.

The good news is, weather forecasts for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are above freezing so nobody will have their tongues stuck to a frozen telephone pole.

If a Christmas disaster should occur such as the poles reversing making the North Pole the South Pole causing Santa and his team of red-nosed reindeer to become lost and Frosty the Snow Man to melt then head on down to Daniel’s Bar and Grille.

Holiday hours at Daniel’s Bar and Grille located in South Knoxville on Chapman Hwy. are Christmas Eve from noon until 6 p.m. and Christmas Night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with specials running on domestic mugs and pitchers.
