Although the Sevier County School System budgets for athletics most schools still need to fundraise to remain operational.

Boys Head Coach Brian Jessie’s wife, Phyllis Jessie has spent the last four years raising money for the basketball program.

“He does the coaching and I do the fundraising,” she said. “It’s a team effort.”

As part of the funding raising effort, businesses can purchase at banners that will be hung in the SHS Gymnasium. Each banners costs $350 new or $250 to renew an existing display.
