To help a Blount County resident with medical expenses for a terminal illness a concert and auction will be held Nov. 17.

Jeanie Green and Dennis Weaver have organized a concert and auction benefit for James H. Colvin, a police officer who has served Blount County for 19 years.

Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson has offered The Shed as a location for the benefit. The Shed is located at 1820 W. Lamar Alexander Parkway in Maryville. The Empty Bottle Band and Mike Nash with the Southern Drawl Band will be performing.
