After considering his continuous years of dedication and service, the Tennessee Sheriff’s Association’s selection of Sevier County’s Sheriff Ron Seals as the Sheriff of the Year aligns with the prestige of the award.
In recognition of Seals receiving the award, Sevier County Mayor Larry Waters presented a proclamation during the County Commission Meeting Sept. 17.
“I’m happy to endorse the recognition, and to congratulate Ron Seals for his long-term work with the Sheriff’s Department,” Waters said. “I appreciate all he has done for Sevier County.”
Seals has been with the SCSD for more than 35 years and has served as sheriff since 2007.
