After weeks of planning and preparation, the first day of the new school year for Sevier County began last week and Seymour principals said all of their hard work has produced effective results.
“We’ve had professional communication with our teachers,” Seymour High School Principal Kristy Wallen said. “We are using test data to make sure every student has all the right classes.”
For Wallen, the new school year has extra significance since this is her first year working as a principal.
