In a second attempt to get a parcel of land rezoned, Barry Shular put in another request, which was voted down by the Sevier County Commission Aug. 20.
The rezoning issue concerns land parcel 66.04 located at N. Knob Creek Rd. and Tittsworth Springs Rd.
The property is owned by Shular, who is also the owner of Heartland Development in Seymour.
Shular’s request is for the land to be rezoned from its current R-2 classification to an R-2M classification.
