Although the majority of the 411 Hwy. repaving project was finished last week, Blalock and Sons Construction spent some time this week to ensure full completion of the improved road.

“We smoothed out where some of the driveways and county roads meet,” said Corporate Secretary Doug Blalock. “This is to balance out the height and levels.”

Blalock said there may also be some stone shouldering work done, but this week will mark the completion of the project.

“We were able to achieve smoothness that exceeded the requirements,” Blalock said. “We had to go a little slower, but I’m proud of the work we did.”
