A Louisiana woman has been charged in connection with a stabbing at a Sevier County rental cabin.

Staci Hariford, 19 of Brusly, LA, was arrested for aggravated assault after an incident last week that resulted in a teenager being stabbed.

Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals said at about 7 p.m. June 19 the Sheriff’s Office received a call from a rental cabin on White Oak Ridge Lane reporting a person had been stabbed.

When officers arrived on the scene they found a 17-year-old boy with a stab wound to his abdomen. The boy was flown to UT Hospital in Knoxville by LIFESTAR helicopter with non-life-threatening injuries and was listed in stable condition.
