While an early morning accident on Chapman Hwy. caused traffic delays, it did not cause any serious injuries.

According to the Seymour Volunteer Fire Department, the accident was minor and occurred at the intersection of Old Sevierville Pike and Chapman Hwy. at about 8 a.m. May 7.

“We were only at the accident site for about three or four minutes,” said SVFD Chief Kevin Nunn. “There were no extractions and no injuries.”

SVFD Board Chairman Ted Esch echoed Nunn saying, “We were back in ten minutes. It was a minor accident.”
