The Hollywood-themed Seymour High School prom, which was held April 28 at the Knoxville Convention Center, was well-attended from beginning to end.

“There were 309 students and eight underclassmen in attendance,” said Kristi McCord, chemistry teacher at Seymour and one of the organizers for the event. “The evening went very, very well.”

In addition to the regular prom activities, such as dancing, eating and spending time with friends, students were also interviewed on the red carpet when they entered.

To further emphasize the Hollywood theme, students enjoyed a photo booth with unlimited pictures with movie trivia, and a large screen that played a video showing pictures and video footage of this year’s seniors
