In a brief break from the rigorous IMAC schedule, the Seymour Eagle baseball team took apart Anderson County 11-0 at Jack A. Parton Field in Pigeon Forge recently.

With a modest 2-0 lead going into the second inning, the dam broke for Anderson County as Seymour scored seven runs.

Starting pitcher Larry Kennedy got the win for the Eagles, pitching a four hit ball game.

The second inning explosion started with a two-run single by Ben Whisler making the score 4-0.  Cade Snapp followed with a double off the wall that drove in two more runs.  Tyler Crawford then launched a missile toward the mound that was too hot to handle and another run scored on an error by the pitcher.
