The National Soccer Coaches Association of America has named its 2011 Women's College Scholar All-South Region team.
Maryville College’s Jordan Chase was named a third team selection, earning her second academic all-region accolade from the coaches association.
Chase, a Franklin, Tennessee native, was a stalwart of the Lady Scot defense that posted 43 career shutouts collectively as her teams went 56-18-6 during her stellar four-year career.
Jordan was a three-time All-Great South Athletic Conference performer. This 2008 GSAC All-Freshman team member also earned three selections to the GSAC All-Academic Team.
She was named a 2010 NSCAA All-Region Scholar in advance of the same 2011 honor. She was also named a two-time NSCAA All-Region standout.
Chase is the daughter of Dawn and John Chase from Franklin, Tennessee.
