For 20 years, the Cantrell family has kept Knoxville residents comfortable both in their homes and their wallets.
In 1991, Jim Cantrell and his son Randy opened a business based on Jim’s work in the heating and air conditioning industry.
Cantrell’s Heat & Air has provided quality service and products ever since. When Jim passed away in 2004, Randy became the sole owner. But the family owned quality didn’t diminish, since sister Pam joined in 2001.
“For me, I like it because I can fuss at him,” she said.
As office manager, she helps run a business that prides itself on specialized service, both with products and people.
“We’re a family business,” she said. “Randy gives personal attention to every customer.”
Having studied refrigeration and engineering in college, Randy offers full installation as energy efficient and TVA certified contractor.
They sell mostly Amana and American Standard units, but thanks to their service manager, Seymour resident Jeff Parton, they can service all types of systems. There is no after hour charge for their 24 hour, seven day a week emergency service.
Pam indicated that maintenance is a big priority, which is why they’re now offering 15 percent off on maintenance, with agreements for regular work.
“We always stress that you should have spring and fall maintenance,” she said.
