All Seymour and South Knoxville families are invited join Summit P.E.A.K. and Summit Kidz for an upcoming back to school event.
The Summit P.E.A.K (People Experiencing Acts of Kindness) is a Tennessee not-for-profit organization that has partnered with Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries (KARM) and Second Harvest Food Bank to reach the people in the Seymour and South Knoxville communities.
Representatives of The Summit P.E.A.K will be giving away school supplies to the community at the 3rd annual Back 2 School Bash which will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 6 at Bower Field.
As part of the giveaway, organizers are partnering with businesses across East Tennessee to be a sponsor of the event and/or offer prizes in addition to the school supplies and festivities.
Families can enjoy free cotton candy, popcorn, and slushies as well as participate in our giveaways and enjoy inflatables and games all day long.
“The Back 2 School BASH event is a ton of fun,” said Pastor Robert Gentry. “We are so excited to be able to give away school supplies to families in our area who need help in this tough economy.”
