Todd Proffitt, President and CEO of Tennessee State Bank announced that Wayne Ayers has joined the Tennessee State Bank Board of Directors.
Ayers is a lifelong Sevier County resident with a strong background in business, real-estate and land development. His family businesses included the 5 and 10 cent store in Sevierville as well as the Big Inn in Pigeon Forge. He later took over his father’s real-estate development and hasn’t looked back.
He is married to his wife Barbara and they have two sons, Mathew Ayers, a graduate of the University of Tennessee in business administration and Daniel Ayers, currently a student at the University of Tennessee.
“We are honored that Wayne has joined the Board at Tennessee State Bank,” Proffitt said. “I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Wayne throughout the years and can truly say that he is a well respected and knowledgeable business owner and developer.
