The Arts & Culture Alliance will present a new exhibition of works by Pamela Neal opening April 1, at 5 p.m. on the north side of the Balcony at the Emporium Center. In this exhibition, Neal showcases contemporary abstract impressionist paintings.
Born in Knoxville, Pamela Neal is a multi-faceted fine artist who has invested a lifetime exploring her passion for the arts. She has worked in textiles, jewelry, collage, and photography, culminating in the sophisticated abstract paintings she currently produces.
Many of Neal’s works have a musical tone expressing her love of music. Capable of working in a wide range of mediums from textiles to pastels and oils, she also creates tactile three-dimensional artworks based on her signature “FABstract” techniques. An animal lover at heart, Pamela also specializes in portraits of animals from family pets to champion show dogs and racehorses.
Her works will be displayed on the north side of the Balcony at the Emporium Center, 100 S. Gay Street, from April 1-30, 2011.
