Despite the 10th-ranked Tennessee Lady Vol swimming and diving team coming up short against second-ranked Georgia, the Southeastern Conference took note of some impressive individual efforts, as sophomore Kelsey Floyd, junior Gabrielle Trudeau and freshman Lindsay Gendron were rewarded with conference accolades.   
 For Floyd, this is the third time she has been named the SEC Swimmer of the Week this season. Against the Lady Bulldogs, the Lexington, Ky., native notched victories in the 100y and 200 fly events and broke her own UT and AJIAC pool record in the 200y event with a time of 1:55.55. The mark ranks eighth in the nation and first in the conference by almost three seconds.
 She also earned runner-up finishes with NCAA B-cut times in the 200y back (1:57.28) and 400y freestyle relay (3:21.04).  Her 100y fly time of 53.55 was a season-best mark. This season, she has recorded multiple individual wins in five of the six dual meets.
 Floyd also captured the award after posting three individual victories against both Arkansas, on Oct. 19, and ninth-rated Virginia, on Jan. 11.
 Trudeau shared the SEC Diver of the Week award with Georgia’s Hannah Moore as the pair each had a victory and a runner-up finish in the dual meet. Trudeau set career-best and zone qualifying marks on both boards, winning the 1-meter event (304.28) and taking second on the 3-meter (333.38 ).
 The Montreal, Canada, native bettered her career-best score on the 1-meter by nine points and improved on the 3-meter by nearly 15 points. Her 3-meter score ranks seventh best in Lady Vol history, while the 1-meter score is good for the fourth best on UT’s performers list.
 This marks the second time she has been named the conference’s top diver as she also was awarded on Nov. 23 for her strong showing at the Tennessee Invitational by winning on both boards.
 In her first season donning an Orange and White cap, Gendron has quickly shown that she can compete with the nation’s best. After nothing victories in the 200y and 500y free events versus Georgia, the league tabbed Gendron as the SEC Freshman of the Week.
 The Bloomington, Ill., native broke the AJIAC pool record in the 200y free after clocking an NCAA B-cut time of 1:45.35, breaking the old mark of 1:46.91. The mark ranks seventh in the country and third in the conference. She also swam a personal-best and first-place time of 4:44.46 in the 500y free, beating NCAA mile champion Wendi Trott.
 The conference honor is Gendron’s second of the season and by earning multiple wins against the Lady Bulldogs; Gendron has now won at least two events in all of her dual appearances in 2010-11.
