Employees of The University of Tennessee Medical Center, UT Graduate School of Medicine and University Physicians Association contributed more than $257,900 to their 2010 annual fundraising Torch Campaign – Employees Care.
Funds raised from the Torch Campaign are used to maintain and expand patient care services, educational programs and research initiatives that might not otherwise exist. In the past four years, employees have donated more than $1,042,000 to the Torch Campaign.
“My gratitude goes out to all medical center, UT Graduate School of Medicine and University Physicians’ Association employees who have in the past and continue to contribute to the medical center in so many different ways and with great passion and dedication to serving others,” said Joe Landsman, president and CEO of UT Medical Center. “This campaign demonstrates to the community the enthusiasm our employees have for the work we do.
“Their support has made a lasting impact in the lives of our patients and all of our programs.”
