Sevier County 4-H members were well represented at this year’s State 4-H Roundup at the University of Tennessee Martin.
Roundup annually recognizes 4-H members across the state for their outstanding 4-H project work.
This year Sevier County had 11 4-H members to qualify for the state competition and was recognized with five state winners.
 State winners include JP Caylor, Sevier County High School, Level II Engineering Safety Science; Hunter Greene, Gatlinburg Pittman High School, Level II Consumer Education Economics; Christina Lulich, Gatlinburg Pittman High School, Level II Line and Design; Jared Bruhin, Sevier County High School, Level I Sheep; and Erin Perry, Sevier County High School, Level I Consumer Education/Economics.
Level I winners receive a $500 scholarship and Level II winners receive a $500 scholarship and a trip to National 4-H Congress in Atlanta.
JP Caylor, Hunter Greene and Christina Lulich were also awarded the Vol State Recognition, the highest level of recognition available to Tennessee 4-H members.
Sevier County did very well in the State 4-H All Star Awards Program with the following awards, Don Bowman, Service Project Award Eastern Region Winner; Peggy Davis, Service Award Winner; and Hannah Clevenger, Gatlinburg Pittman High School, was named the state winner in the All Star Project Exhibit Competition.
