The Arrowcraft Shop will host a free craft demonstration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 21 and 22.
North Carolina artist Nancy Darrell will demonstrate various techniques used to create her woodblock prints.
After earning her arts degrees in college, Nancy apprenticed with the potter Charles Counts and was introduced to printmaking by another nearby artist. She has taken numerous printmaking workshops over the years and creatively integrates these two mediums.
She lives in Marshall, North Carolina and has been a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild since 1985.
Located at traffic light #6 on the Parkway in Gatlinburg, the Arrowcraft Shop is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
