The Sevier County Emergency Management Quarterly Report was released on Monday.
The report detailed activity from Oct. 1, 2009 to Dec. 30, 2009.
During this time period there was a total of 11 HazMat/Environmental/Other calls placed which included three spills and eight calls classified as “other.”
A total of 216 hours of training with other agencies was spent during this time period as well. These hours included 62 with fire, none with EMS, 48 with police and 106 with other agencies.
The department received $499,064.23 of grant money from Homeland Security for the year of 2009 and received $25,000 of grants from EMPG as well.
