Tennessee State Bank is proud to recognize both Scott Henry and David Grindstaff as their 2009 Staff Members of the year.   Both individuals were selected by fellow employees to receive this honor.  Henry and Grindstaff continually represent TSB with integrity and trust.   “We are very honored and privileged to have both David and Scott working for Tennessee State Bank.  They both represent the bank in the most positive, effective and professional way.  Both employees are very deserving of this recognition and we are very proud that they are a part of our TSB family,” says Proffitt.
Scott Henry, Community Banking Officer at Tennessee State Bank’s Wears Valley branch has been with Tennessee State Bank for the past four years.  Henry is a native of Sevier County and a proud graduate of Gatlinburg-Pittman High School, as well as a devoted husband to Melanie and father to his four daughters, Ashley, Kelsey, Sophie and Rylee.  Henry not only stays busy with TSB and his family, he also finds time to be a successful and admired little league football coach as well as a basketball and softball coach.  Outside of sports Henry also is extremely active with his church, serving as the Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor at Richardson’s Cove Baptist Church.  Henry states, “First and foremost, I want to thank the Lord for the opportunity to work for Tennessee State Bank.  It is truly a blessing to work for and with wonderful people such as my fellow employees and co-workers.  I am extremely honored to receive this award and I am looking forward to another great year at Tennessee State Bank.”
David Grindstaff has been with Tennessee State Bank for 6 years and currently holds the position of Assistant Vice President, Credit Analyst in Loan Review at the corporate office in Pigeon Forge.  Grindstaff has been in banking for over 8 years.  He received his Bachelors from UT and his MBA from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  Grindstaff is originally from Knoxville.  He enjoys all outdoor activities, especially if they involve UT sports!
