Seymour Breakfast Rotary Club Don Lakatosh, center, welcomes the recipients of the club’s Jerry Garner Memorial Scholarships to the club meeting August 5. At left is Luke Bowes, 2009 graduate of The King’s Academy, and at right is Brittany Moore, who graduated from Seymour High School in May. Luke will be attending Tennessee Wesleyan College and Brittany will enroll at Carson-Newman College. Both students plan majors in business administration and careers in law.  The Seymour club conducts fundraising events throughout the year with its primary goal to award the Jerry Garner Scholarships to Seymour area high school students.  The scholarship is named for the late Jerry Garner, who was a charter member of the Seymour Breakfast Rotary Club.
