 Maryville College has only recently announced the addition of a golf team to its athletic department, but its golfers are wasting no time preparing for competition.

 The inaugural recruits to the team are Trey Bridwell, a standout transfer from Coker College, and Kelcey Bryant, a freshman from Heritage High School in Maryville who was the team captain both her junior and senior years.

 Bridwell and Bryant have already begun their training and underwent fitness evaluations at a newly created business, Peak Performance Golf, which is designed to enhance a golfer's swing.
