The Seymour High School Choral Department will sponsor a Battle of the Bands at 7 p.m. Sat., Jan. 31, in the Seymour High School Auditorium.  

Three local bands will battle for the opportunity to take home the title of “Top Band.” Feature guest band for the competition is Kevin Hyfantis and the Bishops.  

Hyfantis and the members of the band will perform while the votes are being tallied. He is a former member of the award-winning Seymour High School Choir.

Kevin Hyfantis and the Bishops has performed at many area establishments and local events. It has a CD that is available and will be sold at the competition.
The cost is $5. All proceeds are going to the choral department to help sponsor an upcoming choral trip.
