

According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals on Saturday night 11/22/2008 at app.11:50PM Officers were dispatched to 145 Murphy Denton Rd to a home invasion/ robbery with shots fired.
Arriving officers found the home owner, Vonda Williams, age 47, suffering from a gunshot wound to the right forearm and he also appeared to have beaten.
The victim told officers that several people attacked her in an attempt to rob her.
In addition, the victim said that she was familiar with two of the suspects and knew their identity and was able to give officers description of the subjects and the type of vehicle they were driving when they fled the scene.
Williams was transported to UT Hospital via Lifestar where she was treated for her injuries.
The vehicle that was used in the incident was spotted approximately one hour later in the vicinity and stopped by Sevier County SO Officers. The driver, Audrey Matthews age 23 and the passengers Jeffrey Lee Hatcher, age 28, and Zachary Stinnett, age 21 all of Sevierville were taken into custody.
Following an investigation the trio was charged with Especially Aggravated Robbery at that time.
Stinnet was also charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder and Especially Aggravated Burglary and he is being held with no bond.
Matthews is being held on a $100,000 bond and Hatcher is being held on a $150,000 bond.
A Dec. 10th hearing date is set for the three subjects in Sevier Co. General Sessions Court.
The investigation is ongoing and Detectives are still looking for two other subjects in connection with the robbery at this time.
