Ronnie Johnson came all the way from Middle Tennessee to win Saturday night’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Steel Head Late Model National Championship Feature at 411 Motor Speedway.
Johnson, a Chattanooga native, won the main event of the final race-night of the season at Seymour’s legendary dirt oval. He finished in front of Knoxville’s Gusty Christenberry, who finished in second place, and Maryville’s Mark Rosner, who finished in third place of the 20-car field.
Track veteran Clyde Stanton, of Knoxville, was the victor Saturday in the Late Model Consolation race.
Lafollette’s Robbie Comer won the Modified Street Feature. He finished in front of second-place Brad Lewelling, of Sevierville, and Rocky Ogle, of Gatlinburg, who finished third in the five-car field.
