The Dean’s List for the 2008 spring semester has been announced by administrators of Maryville College, and 15 students from Sevier County were among those meeting requirements for the academic distinction.

Qualification for the Dean’s List includes a grade point average of at least 3.6 in all work undertaken with no grade below a “C.” Only full-time students are considered for the Dean’s List.

The following students from Sevier County earned a place on the Dean’s List:

From Seymour: Ana Pazimino, daughter of Lucio Pazimino and Rocio Obando of Seymour; and Mandy Turner, daughter of Ernie and Margaret Turner of Seymour.

From Gatlinburg: Abigail Canney, daughter of John and Gail Canney of Gatlinburg.
