Several cars in the Shenandoah subdivision were hit over the weekend with some sort of fluid which caused the paint to dissolve down to bare metal.

“Only the cars that were parked in the street were vandalized,” stated a local resident who wished to remain anonymous.

The resident told the Seymour Herald he felt that whoever was causing the damage was upset that cars were parked in the street.

There are no signs posted or ordinances which would prevent cars parked in the street.

One particular vehicle which was damaged didn’t belong to the resident, it belonged to a customer.
