A two-car wreck on Chapman Highway sent one man to the hospital Tuesday morning just before 9:00 AM.
A Maxima was headed towards Knoxville when it went across into oncoming traffic and struck a full sized Mercury causing the to do a complete spin and end up on the grass in front of the Seymour Post Office.
“As best as I can remember a car pulling a trailer swerved into my lane and I swerved into the other lane and hooked that other car,” Tommy Floyd, driver of the Maxima, told the Seymour Herald.
Floyd, from Knoxville, said he didn’t have any relatives in the Seymour area.
The un-named driver of the Mercury was taken by Sevier County Ambulance to a hospitial.
