Dogs come in all shapes, sizes and breeds. But if smaller is better for you, an upcoming, free education class might be for you.
Young-Williams Animal Center is joining Small Breed Rescue of East Tennessee to host a session on small breed dogs on Saturday, March 15, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
You will learn about the history, characteristics and temperament of breeds like Chihuahua, shih tzu, Maltese, Pomeranian, poodle and Yorkshire terrier. This course will help you decide if a small dog is right for you. If you already own a small breed, you will get tips on positive training and activities to keep your animal healthy and happy.
This class is open to the public, but please leave your animals at home.
For more information or to register for the class, call Taylor Slemmer at Young-Williams Animal Center at 215-6661.
