One tire blow-out at high speeds will convince you of the importance of tire maintenance.

Buddy Vantilburg has opened Quick Service Tire & Auto Center in Seymour to give people an opportunity to get a great set of tires at a great price.

"I'm not interested in making a fortune off of one set of tires," Vantilburg told the Seymour Herald. "I'm more interested in making a little off of many sets in that way, I can help more people."

After spending seven years in the business working for another tire company, Vantilburg decided it was time to open the doors to Quick Service Tire & Auto Center in Seymour. This happened last November. He actually signed the lease in August but had to get the building ready.

"I was taught by a man that has been in the business for the past 50 years," stated Vantilburg. "I feel like I learned from the best, so I decided to go back into business for myself."
