OBITUARIES

Thomas McConnell Montgomery, age 53 of Gatlinburg, passed away Saturday night, June 24, 2006. Born in Kingsport, TN, he was a graduate of Bearden High School and attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. A former member of the Professional Golf Association (PGA), Montgomery was the principal broker of Gatlinburg Real Estate and Rentals in Gatlinburg. He was also a member of the Elks BPOE Lodge 1925 Gatlinburg, the Gatlinburg Rotary Club, and the Bent Creek Golf Club.
He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law J. David Reeves, Sr.

Stepchildren: Kristie Broyles and husband Brian, Kim Issac and husband Athanasius, Trey Scott and wife Anna
Grandchildren: Kandiss, Kaleigh, Asher, McKayla, Brayden

Father and stepmother: Ed C. “Britches” and Bobbi Montgomery
Sister: Cynthia Montgomery Reeves
Brother and sister-in-law: Robert W. and April Montgomery
Stepbrothers: David Dixon and wife Elizabeth, Dwain Dixon and wife Corrine
Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and lots of cousins
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tom Montgomery Junior Golf Scholarship Fund at your local branch of Tennessee State Bank.
Funeral service 7 PM Thursday in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. An Eucharist service in his honor will be held 11 AM Friday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Gatlinburg.

Peggy Talbot Lewis, age 60 of Gatlinburg, died Monday, June 26, 2006.

Sisters: Diana Weals, Alana Tinker, Reba Joyce Reagan, Nora Faye Wilson
Family and friends will meet 10 AM Thursday in Zion Grove Cemetery for graveside service and interment. Jim Parton officiating. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
