The Seymour Optimist baseball coaches met at The Barn of Highway 411 Sunday evening to discuss the upcoming season.
League Commissioner Gary Rader said 53 prospective coaches were at the meeting discussing everything from field cleanup to tournaments.
Rader said player sign-up dates are February 4th, 11th, and 18th from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Bowers Field.
Rader, who has been a part of Seymour youth baseball since 1975, said he expects to field as many as 17 tee ball teams this season.
